Short‑Cycle Hot Press Introduction
The short‑cycle hot press is core hydraulic equipment for wood‑based panel lamination. It is mainly used to rapidly press
and bond melamine‑impregnated decorative papers onto substrates such as particleboard, MDF, HDF and plywood under
high temperature and high pressure, to manufacture melamine‑faced boards for furniture, cabinets and laminate flooring.
Its most prominent advantage lies in the short pressing cycle: one pressing operation can be completed within dozens of
seconds to 60 seconds. Compared with conventional hot presses, it delivers much higher productivity and is ideal for mass
production of decorative panels.
The equipment consists of a frame, hydraulic cylinders, hot platens, temperature control system, PLC control system and
board conveying mechanism, and can be configured as semi‑automatic or fully‑automatic production lines.
Different surface effects including matte, glossy, wood grain and synchronised embossing can be achieved by
replacing patterned steel plates. Pressure, temperature and pressing time are adjustable, and customised working
dimensions and tonnage are supported.
