A veneer peeling machine, also known as a veneer rotary cutting machine or veneer lathe, is the first and most critical piece of equipment in plywood and veneer production. It is used to peel thin wood veneer sheets from logs.

Based on different structural designs, wood veneer peeling machines are classified into two categories: spindle veneer peeling machines (veneer rotary cutting lathes) and spindleless veneer peeling machines.

The advantages of spindleless veneer peeling machines include suitability for small-diameter logs, fast and easy feeding, and a smaller remaining log core. This improves log utilization rate and enhances working efficiency.
